General Operation
Elite Intel is designed for natural interaction. This page describes the key concepts for effective use. Memorizing specific commands is not required. Speak naturally and the AI determines your intent using probability, so you have to convey what you mean without being ambiguous about what you want the app to do. The more ambiguous you are, the lower the probability the LLM will guess your intent correctly.
Game Controls, Commands and Queries
Elite Intel helps with ship control operations, like Voice Attack, but that is not all that it can do. It can find things for you such as technology brokers, material traders, calculate trade routes, or monetize your existing route. It helps in mission tracking, pirate massacre stacking, exploration, exobiology, and fleet carrier management. It generates spoken responds for queries instead of using pre-determined banter. So each reply to a query will be different. How creative it is in responses will depend on the Personality you select and the capabilities of the model you are using.
This is not just an alternative Voice Attack it is a ship computer with a brain. However, it will not judge your game play, fly your ship for you or operate AFK.
Elite Intel performs data analysis from in-game journal files, Spansh, and EDSM. Specific queries return detailed answers. Broad queries return summaries.
In conversation mode the AI also supports general knowledge queries beyond Elite Dangerous. It's knowledge of the Elite Dangerous lore depends on which model you are using. Some models have no idea and will come up with a random answer for a random question, others do know the lore.
